🍯 Salt + Honey
🍯 Salt + Honey retreats
A retreat for women navigating separation and divorce
Presenting: Salt + Honey I
16–19 April 2026 · Sage Manor, Bowral NSW
Located in the gentle countryside of the Southern Highlands, Salt + Honey will take place at the beautifully restored Sage Manor in Bowral — a serene estate surrounded by rolling green hills, quiet gardens, and the soft hush of country air. Just a few hours from Canberra and Sydney, it is a place that immediately slows the breath and softens the edges, offering the sense of arrival that only nature and spaciousness can create.
This is a small, intimate retreat designed for women walking through separation, divorce, or the long in-between. The spaces at Sage Manor have been carefully chosen to support rest and reconnection: light-filled bedrooms, calm communal areas, and a warm, inviting practice room where yoga and group sessions can unfold gently. Our shared brunches and nourishing, home-style dinners will give you the grounding you need as we move through breathwork, reflective practices, and slow, supportive yoga across a long weekend.
A soft landing in a hard season
During our time together, we will gather each morning for a gentle, grounding yoga practice to help you arrive in your body and settle your nervous system. In the afternoons, we will move into slow Restorative or Yin, supported by breathwork, meditation, and Yoga Nidra. These practices are intentionally designed to meet you where you are — whether you are completely new to yoga, returning after a long break, or moving gently through emotional or physical tenderness.
Alongside the yoga, Dr Bec Jackson, psychologist, will be offering psychological support throughout the retreat — holding a safe, grounded space for processing, reflection, and the very real emotional complexity that separation and divorce can bring. Her presence is one of deep steadiness, care, and evidence-based support.
You do not have to arrive “OK”. You simply have to arrive.

Who this retreat is for
Salt + Honey is for you if:
You are navigating separation or divorce, or sitting in the uncertain in-between
You feel tired from holding it all together and need somewhere safe to exhale
You want gentle practices that support your nervous system, not push your limits
You are craving connection with other women who “get it” without needing the full backstory
You are ready for a small step towards feeling more like yourself again
You do not need any yoga experience. You do not need to be “spiritual” or “flexible”. You simply need to be willing to show up as you are.
-
Across the retreat, you’ll be invited into a slow, spacious rhythm that supports your whole system:
Morning grounding practices (gentle flow, somatic movement, breathwork)
Afternoon Restorative or Yin Yoga
Meditation and Yoga Nidra
Facilitated circles and reflective practices with Dr Bec
Quiet integration time to rest, journal, or simply breathe
All sessions are optional. This weekend is about listening to your body and your capacity, not forcing yourself through a schedule.
-
In addition to our shared practices, you’ll have generous free time to reconnect with yourself in whatever way feels nourishing:
Wander the gardens or take quiet country walks
Rest by the fire or curl up with a book
Enjoy a long bath or a midday lie-down
Connect with other women over tea and gentle conversation
Explore Bowral’s cafés, shops, and surrounding countryside
Book a massage or simply be still without needing to explain why
