Who I am

I'm Ellen Harvey (ABN 68 672 922 399), and I run Content Co, based in Brisbane, Australia. You can contact me at hello@ellenharvey.com.au.

What information I collect

I collect personal information when you:

  • contact me — I collect your name, email address, and the content of your message

  • subscribe to my newsletter — I collect your email address and, optionally, your name

  • visit this website — my hosting provider (Squarespace) may collect usage data, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

I don't collect sensitive information as defined under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

How I use your information

I use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry

  • send you my newsletter, if you subscribed

  • record and follow up on business enquiries

  • understand how people use this website so I can improve it.

I won't use your information for any other purpose without your consent.

Who I share your information with

I don't sell your personal information. I share it only with the platforms I use to run this website and my business:

  • Squarespace — my website host, which may process usage data

  • Kit (ConvertKit) — my newsletter platform, which stores subscriber email addresses

  • Notion — my business management tool, where I may record enquiry and contact details to follow up with you. Notion stores data on servers that may be located outside Australia.

These providers have their own privacy policies, which I encourage you to read if you have questions about how they handle your data.

How I store your information

Your information is stored securely. I keep it only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information I hold about you

  • Ask me to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date

  • Ask me to delete your information where it is no longer needed

  • Unsubscribe from my newsletter at any time using the link in any email I send
